Roy Oswalt’s favorite Minute Maid Park Memory
Roy Oswalt shares his favorite Minute Maid Park memory with Alyson Footer:
“My favorite memory is the first World Series game at home that I pitched in. I just remember it was a big deal because it was the first World Series in Texas, in either stadium.
“The place was packed. I don’t think we could have fit anyone else into the stadium. I remember looking up and you could see people packed on the concourses, behind the seats.
“I don’t remember a whole lot about what was going on in the dugout, because I was trying to get focused on the game. I do remember walking out and seeing how many people were there so long before the game started. Normally, people start getting there around seven, but by the time I walked out onto the field at 6:30, the place was already jam-packed. I just remember how excited the fans were.”
